The successful candidate will join a team of mechanics here at Beaty Fleet Services.

The Role;

​

• Carry out HGV maintenance, servicing, MOT preparation and cost effect repairs on a wide range of vehicle makes and trailers to DVSA standards

• Carry out fault diagnostic, troubleshooting and rectification using the manufacturers computer systems and other diagnostic systems

• Maintain workshop safety and housekeeping.

• Complete all paperwork correctly i.e service inspection sheets, job cards, defect sheets.

Typical working hours Monday to Friday 7:30 to 17:30 and every other Saturday 07:30 to 13:00 (paid at time and a half)

 

The ideal candidate will have experience within a mechanical field preferably HGV mechanics.

 

Requirements for this role

• At least 5 years mechanical experience working within a similar role.

• Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician or equivalent industrial experience.

• HGV (CE) licence (preferred)

• Take pride in your work and an eye for detail

• Work well with others.
